About me:
My name is Charles Edward Searight, Jr. I was born in Portsmouth, VA, received my B.S. in Computer Animation at Fullsail University in Orlando, FL, and currently reside in Los Angeles, CA. I have over 10 years experience in the industry working with motion capture, comic book illustration, character animation, tracking, tracking, matchmoving, outsourcing and other tasks. For these games, my tasks included motion tracking, Motion Capture Editing, Final animation, QC data on set, storyboards, Concept Sketches, and even going on stage to be suited up and/or suit actors up.
I have worked at Method Studios where my tasks include tracking, matchmoving, outsourcing, onset integration, lidar processing, and operating FARO Scanner, among others. Here are a few of the projects I worked on while here:

I am currently employeed at Sony Interactive Entertainment, my tasks included motion tracking, Retargetting, Motion Editing, QC data on set, setting up Characters to be ready to apply captured data, and even going on stage to be suited up and/or suit actors up, help coming up with tools to help increase productivity and make it easier to process data. I am passionate about my job and anything creative I can apply my mind and skills too. I work well in a team setting as well as individually. I am always curious and open to learning new techniques and skills, especially from people that I have the pleasure of working with. When it comes to finding a company I can contribute to and grow in, relocation is never an issue. I love exploring new places and meeting new people!
